At the heart of this work is the woman who learned to prioritize being loved, needed, or agreeable over being fully herself. Together, we find her way back.
With the right support, you can develop a deeper, steadier connection to your own worthiness. One that doesn't crumble when you disappoint someone, make a mistake, or dare to rest. Over time, you begin to trust that your worth isn't something you have to earn. It's something you already carry.
You constantly replay conversations, second-guess yourself, and overanalyze decisions. You may feel anxious, mentally exhausted, or stuck in a cycle of worry that makes it hard to relax or trust yourself.
Your mind is trying to keep you safe, prepared, or in control. We'll work to understand what your anxiety has been trying to protect you from, helping you move from constant self-doubt and mental exhaustion toward greater calm, self-trust, and inner steadiness.
You may feel deeply sensitive, or like your emotions are harder to manage than they seem to be for others. For many women, before their cycle, anxiety, self-criticism, irritability, sadness, emotional overwhelm intensify.
We’ll help you create a gentler relationship with your body and cycle, learning how nurture yourself through its seasons, and reconnect with your sensitivity as the strength it truly is.
You’ve spent so much time surviving, performing, caregiving, or holding everything together that you’ve become disconnected from your own needs, desires, and identity. Maybe you’re burnt out, emotionally exhausted, or quietly wondering where you went in all of this.
We'll explore the deeper patterns that led you here and help you reconnect with your needs, identity, and voice so you can you move from burnout and survival mode toward a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and genuinely yours.
Relationships may leave you feeling anxious, unseen, emotionally drained, or like you’re always giving more than you receive. You may struggle with fear of rejection, abandonment, or conflict, find yourself attracted to emotionally unavailable partners, or have difficulty expressing your needs and boundaries.
We'll work to understand the deeper roots of how you relate, heal attachment wounds, and help you build a new relationship blueprint—one rooted in self-worth, emotional safety, healthy boundaries, and secure love.
You say yes when you mean no, absorb and take responsibility for everyone else's emotions, and fear disappointing others more than you fear losing yourself. Maybe you’ve started to resent the people you love — quietly, guiltily.
Therapy helps you stop abandoning yourself to keep the peace, reconnect with your needs and voice, and learn that you can be loving, honest, and deeply caring without losing yourself in the process.
You hold yourself to impossibly high standards and can be incredibly hard on yourself. You may be high-achieving, hyper-responsible, or constantly striving— yet still struggle with self-doubt, guilt, shame, or the feeling that you’re still not enough.
We’ll work at the root of the belief that love, approval, or worth must be earned through performance, achievement, or pleasing others and help you move toward a more compassionate relationship with yourself rooted in confidence, self-trust, and the freedom to simply be enough.
Each of these is a doorway into the same core healing — reconnecting you with your worth, your voice, and the life you actually want.
You are not alone
I pull from multiple evidence-based approaches and weave them together in a way that honors your whole self: mind, body, soul. My approach is warm, direct, and deeply relational — I'll laugh with you, sit in the hard moments with you, and gently challenge you when it's time.
I'm not here to fix you. I'm here to walk alongside you as you remember who you were always meant to be.
I offer standing, recurring appointment times, either weekly or bi-weekly. This means you’ll have a dedicated spot reserved in my schedule just for you. You can do in-person in my Santa Rosa office, virtual video visits, or a hybrid.
A free 15–20 minute call where we'll talk about what's bringing you in, answer your questions, and get a feel for whether we're a good fit. No pressure. No commitment. Just a real, honest conversation.
If we decide to move forward, you'll receive an intake form and we'll schedule your first session (75 minutes) — a longer session designed to give us space to ease in, explore your story, and begin mapping out what healing might look like for you.
My work is rooted in the belief that the self-doubt, anxiety, and people-pleasing you live with aren't character flaws. They're survival strategies — learned early, held tightly, and ready to be gently released.
I created Cassandra Marie Therapy to be a space where high-achieving, deeply feeling women can finally stop performing and start healing. Where you don't have to have it together. Where your sensitivity is welcomed. Where you are enough, exactly as you are, right now.
Intake session (75 minutes): $175
This is our initial session! It’s our chance to dive in and get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, explore your story, and begin to map out what healing and support might look like for you. It’s a little longer to give us plenty of space to ease in.
Ongoing sessions (50 minutes): $140
Sessions are available in-person in Santa Rosa, virtually throughout California, or as a hybrid, depending on what works best for you.
I accept cash, check, and card. Our online system accepts most credit/debit cards, including HSA and FSA cards that function like a regular card.
Before your first session, you will receive a secure form to enter your card info. The session fee is charged the evening of each appointment.
Correct. Cassandra Marie Thearpy is considered an out-of-network provider, which means I am not in-network with any insurance companies. I have chosen not to work directly with insurance for more flexibility in my practice, and also to protect your privacy. I think it’s important to provide care that isn’t dictated by insurance requirements or forced diagnoses. That feels icky to me.
That being said, if your insurance plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. We will provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You will be responsible for paying for each session in full at time of appointment.
I offer standing, recurring appointment times, either weekly or bi-weekly. This means you’ll have a dedicated spot reserved in your therapist’s schedule just for you.
When weekly availability is available, we often recommend beginning with weekly sessions, as therapy tends to be most effective when there’s consistency, especially in the beginning. When possible, we encourage new clients to commit to weekly sessions for at least the first 6 weeks. This can help build trust, create momentum, and support meaningful progress.
If a weekly spot isn’t available, we may begin with bi-weekly sessions instead and revisit frequency together over time. After the initial 6 weeks, we’ll reassess what best supports your goals, whether that’s continuing weekly or shifting to bi-weekly. These decisions are always collaborative and tailored to your needs.
There’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some clients meet their goals in just a few months, while others continue for years as part of ongoing care. Therapy can be a short-term tool for growth or a long-term space for reflection, support, and maintenance; it all depends on your needs.
My goal is to support you for as long as therapy feels helpful and aligned with your goals. As you build confidence in the progress you’re making, we’ll regularly check in together about what feels most supportive moving forward, including whether it feels like the right time to wrap up therapy. Those decisions are always collaborative and guided by your needs.
Some clients pause therapy and return later when life shifts or stress increases, and we’re always glad to reconnect with returning clients, whether you’re coming back for support or simply sharing an update.
Our appointment times are reserved specifically for you. We require at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Without that notice, the full session fee will be charged. No-shows are also charged the full session fee.
That said, we know life happens! We offer one grace late cancellation or no-show per client. After that, late cancellations, reschedules made with less than 48 hours’ notice, or no-shows will be charged in full. Special consideration may be given in cases of emergency or sudden illness, at your therapist’s discretion.
And because your time matters too, if your therapist needs to cancel your session with less than 48 hours’ notice outside of a true emergency, we’ll waive one future late cancellation or no-show fee for you—unless we’re able to reschedule within the same week.

No pressure. No commitment. Just a real conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
